As some of you will be aware we have had some meetings with Essex Police in recent months.

Emotions have been running high recently due to the lack of police presence and the recent crime spate so the Chamber committee agreed to sponsor a public meeting so that the town as a whole, businesses and residents, have an opportunity to speak to the Police directly about the issues we are facing and how policing will be managed moving forward.

The meeting is also an opportunity to find ways that we can all work together.
