Regional law firm Holmes & Hills Solicitors have announced the expansion of its operations in Colchester with the opening of a new regional head office.
The A12 Commercial Hub at J25 of the A12, Marks Tey, had stood vacant for several years, it was formerly home to The Food Company.
Holmes & Hills have spent the lockdown period investing heavily to turn the former food store into a modern, agile and welcoming office environment for its staff, clients and professional contacts. The building now boasts one of the best agile working and meeting environments in Essex.
Due to growth in demand for its commercial services Holmes & Hills immediately created 15 positions linked to the firm’s new regional head office. Whilst some of these positions have already been filled, Holmes & Hills continues to advertise a range of roles including solicitor, paralegal, administrative and marketing vacancies.
Holmes and Hills Managing Partner Mark Cornell, said “The position of Holmes & Hills’ new A12 Commercial Hub, which will become the firm’s regional head office, makes our solicitors readily accessible to clients and professional contacts across the region.
“Clients, professional contacts and colleagues will be able to avoid town centre traffic and will arrive at our office to find ample on-site parking and a modern, agile and welcoming environment. With a dedicated coffee lounge providing for informal meetings and a large agile working space for collaborative working among colleagues, the A12 Commercial Hub provides the type of working environment that is required by any modern and growing business at the current time”.
The new office boasts extensive, free on-site parking, a dedicated coffee lounge providing for informal meetings as well as shower facilities and electric car charging points. Social distancing measures have also been incorporated into the office design in order to protect the safety of clients and colleagues.
Following the opening of Holmes & Hills’ A12 Commercial Hub, the solicitors will be operating from six locations across Essex and Suffolk, serving business, local authorities, individuals and families across the East Anglia region.
